A dedicated circuit means one piece of equipment on one breaker with no other loads sharing that circuit. It matters for anything with a heavy startup draw (compressors, HVAC), anything sensitive to voltage sag (servers, medical equipment), and anything code specifically requires to be on its own circuit (dishwashers, disposals, kitchen equipment, ovens, dryers).
We handle single-phase 120V and 240V circuits, 208V single-phase and 3-phase for commercial equipment, and any disconnect required at the equipment location. For sensitive electronics — servers, medical devices, lab equipment — we install isolated-ground receptacles where required and can add point-of-use surge protection.
We'll coordinate with your equipment vendor's install schedule so the electrical is ready when the machine arrives. If your existing panel can't support the additional load, we'll spec a sub-panel or a service upgrade honestly rather than shoehorn something in that will fail an inspection.
Dedicated equipment circuit pricing depends on distance from the panel, voltage/amperage, conduit requirements, and whether a local disconnect is needed. Sub-panels and service upgrades are quoted separately. We provide a free written estimate.
